As a guiding light, a set of signposts if you like, we wanted to layout how we are going to succeed in our mission and achieve our goal. Some rules or values to help us get there. Rules that I (the writer, Paul Lymer) have always tried to follow throughout my career, some that I have learned along the way.

Analysis of your data, know your customer, targeting the right demographic, understanding the channel or market that you are working in.
Be Brave
Your actions define how you work and sometimes the more difficult path can be scary. Challenge.
Appraise Honestly
Be a realist when it comes to reviewing a situation, overplaying can lead to disappointment, underplaying will reduce the satisfaction when you achieve your goal.
Learn
Simply learn. You can't always stay ahead of the curve but you can do your best to keep up with it. Learn from your mistakes too.
Celebrate Wins
Time is short, but making time to celebrate the wins reinforces good habits, behaviours and results.
